By A59 from the West
This route has changed in the last couple of years with a new road built to bypass Penwortham.
- The road will take you off the A59 to bypass Penwortham; just keep following the road, straight across two roundabouts, signposted to Preston, to go back on to the A59 and over the River.
- Continue on the A59 and pass under the Railway on the Ringway, and though several sets of lights.
- Turn left, signposted “Lancaster A6” at the traffic lights by the Crown Courts, a large modern red brick building
- Continue on A6, through two sets of lights, then passing Moor Park on your right.
- Cross Blackpool Rd at traffic lights and continue ahead at next set of lights.
- In about 800 yards turn right into St Vincent’s Road, signposted “Preston College Fulwood Campus”
- The college is on the right in about 500 yards.
From Motorway M6
- From M6 take junction 32 onto the M55, signposted for “Blackpool and Preston N”.
- Remain in the left lane as this junction and Junction 1 of the M55 merge within a mile.
- Leave M55 at Junction 1 and turn left onto the A6 (first exit on the roundabout), signposted “Preston A6”.
- Turn left after about 1.5 miles into St Vincent’s Road, signposted “Preston College Fulwood Campus”
- The college is on the right in about 500 yards.
From Motorway M55 (west)
- Leave M55 at Junction 1 and turn right onto the A6 (third exit on the roundabout), signposted “Preston A6”.
- Turn left after about 1.5 miles into St Vincent’s Road, signposted “Preston College Fulwood Campus”
- The college is on the right in about 500 yards.
